About the Role The incumbent in this role reports into the Chief Information Officer and will be responsible for end user and application support, and maintaining essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. Additional responsibilities include leading projects and providing solutions within our larger business initiatives and working with SaaS and IaaS vendors to support end users. Responsibilities Help Desk and application support, working with end users and vendors to troubleshoot and identify root causes and resolve technical issues. Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups. Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly. Monitor and maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments. Other duties as required. Candidate Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science Proven success in an IT role Experience with troubleshooting and end user support. Two+ years of experience with or knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching Experience with cloud computing and virtualization. Experience supporting Microsoft Productivity tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams, PowerPoint) Preferred Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of windows system administration Professional certifications: A+, ITF+, Network+, Cloud+, Security+ (Or equivalent) Accounting industry experience Knowledge of Thompson Reuters applications If interested, please apply by accessing our website: fmlcpas.com.
