3 Months contract to hire PC/laptop Deskside |Break/Fix Support | Install, Move, Add, Configure “IMAC”Background, Drug, and Citizenship screening requirements USCitizenship required for GE Aerospace due to Export ControlGovernment regulations. GE Aerospace requires First Advantagebackground check be run on the Enterprise Advantage platform underaccount number 836245. Confirmation of background check will berequired on the form of confirmation number ending in “A” listed inthe FADV summary pdf once all the checks have all been completed.

Finally, the GE Security form will need to be provided confirmingappropriate checks have been ran (attached to WO). What will theprimary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? Repair,test, image and clean PC’s, laptop, monitors, printers, and otherrelated hardware. Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot, software andcomputer peripherals. Ability to setup, configure and add allhardware. Experience with asset management. Install, move, add, andchange. Large IMAC events expected for client printer migration andPC refreshes. Assure that all tickets requiring follow up workand/or calls receive appropriate attention. Comfortable withface-to-face interactions as will be required to provide technicalsupport to end users in-person at the customer’s site. Back up andburn end user data. Assist in developing and documentingimprovements to current processes. Assist other coworkers inresolution of end users’ technical issues across the program.

Assist Site Leader in the execution of established processes andescalations. Ability to handle multiple projects. Experienceworking in enterprise environment. Be physically able to lift up to40lbs, bend, crawl, and lay in order to support customer computersystems. Be able to be on feet and physically walk potentially agood portion of the day while visiting customers work area. Howmany overall years of experience should this person have, and dothey need any specific certifications? Candidates should have 6mo -2 years’ experience supporting PC Hardware and software. Pleaselist your TOP 5 required skills that candidates must have. 1.) Usesa Confident, Positive Attitude to deliver great customerexperiences and to be invigorated by constant personal interaction.

Candidates that demonstrate high energy are desired givenfast-paced environment. 2.) Candidate must have a deepunderstanding of diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing PC/laptophardware internal components (motherboard, hard drives, RAM, CPU),and understanding of troubleshooting PC software (Windowsblue-screen, Outlook, connect network printers) as well. 3.)Working experience or strong understanding of enterprisetechnologies (Office 365, Win10 Professional, imaging, andticketing systems. Having experience supporting applicationsrelated to engineering, manufacturing, and logistics is a plus 4.)Soft Skills is a must for this role. Candidate must have theability to work with strong personalities. Managing stress whilebeing able to deescalate tense users is a key attribute. 5.)
