Summary:
Seeking a Technical Support Specialist experienced in heavy equipment, automotive, or manufacturing equipment to assist with parts failures and updates.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma, certification, or associate degree. Experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or manufacturing equipment. Familiarity with part numbers or part lists related to the equipment. Experience with TeamCenter, PowerBI, ECNs, or BOMs is a plus but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of TeamCenter, PowerBI, ECNs, or BOMs.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sandvik Service Technicians to understand parts failures and warranty issues. Identify failed parts and determine necessary updates and replacements. Coordinate with Engineering for recurring issues and Warehouse/Sourcing for part availability. Respond promptly to parts-related queries from Sales Areas using various systems. Update recommended spares lists and stock requirements; liaise with the inventory group for specification changes.
