Responsibilities for Help Desk Technician
- Participate in the day-to-day help desk support.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve varying tiers of IT requests.
- Through coaching, learn modern technologies and workflows and build on technical skills.
- Respond to customer issues via phone, email and on-site visits.
- Document customer interactions.
- Run diagnostics to resolve customer-reported issues.
- Escalate issues to the next Tier when necessary.
- Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of M365 and Google environments.
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Chromebook OS, MAC, and IOS computers.
- Proficiency in computer troubleshooting (Hardware, Desktop Windows, Mapping Network Shares, Accessing Printers/Devices.)
- Has related experience in information security (Knowledge of protecting information systems and basic knowledge of security disciplines.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in English grammar, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and one (1) year of work experience in Multimedia, Electronics, Computer, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- IT-related experience of at least one year.
- Relevant certifications Comp
TIA A+, N+, CCNA
preferred.
- Very organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs during equipment move and setup.
- Must be able to clear a level 2 background check and have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Highly coachable, tech-native, resourceful, loves to learn, optimistic and proactive, and always willing to serve in any situation.
