Rate:
$22/hr on W2
General Characteristics:
The candidate will be responsible for Tier 1 and 2 software and hardware support. They should be able to provide technical advice, guidance, and informal training to customers using hardware and software programs. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving routine technical service and equipment issues by analyzing, identifying, and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures. Additional responsibilities include performing root cause analysis, developing checklists for common problems, recommending preventative procedures, and maintaining knowledge and call tracking databases to enhance the quality of resolutions.
Complexity:
This is an intermediate professional role. The individual will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for issues of medium to high complexity, function as a team member, and may coach more junior technical staff.
