Tier 1 Technical Support – Night Shift Galaxy 1 Communications LLC Fort Lauderdale, FL 33314 • Hybrid work
MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN USA. VISA SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE. 100
% company paid benefits for full time employees after 60 days. Rotational Shift availability required. Monday through Friday rotating between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm or 5:00 pm to 1:00 am. Rotating shifts (with 3 other team members). Overtime available. Job Purpose Responsible for carry out daily operations functions of the technical department. Providing second and first tier technical support to customers and partners, advise and training to partners, direct customers and sales staff. Main Responsibilities 1. Preparing, assembling and testing all Mobile Earth Stations (MES) related equipment 2. Provide technical support for incoming queries and issues from vendors, partners, and customers 3. Assist technical department with daily tasks 4. Maintain specialized inventories related to specialty products. 5. Maintain and program equipment before shipment 6. Maintain specialized inventories related to specialty products 7. Operate Service Desk and inquiries Assist Technical Assistant as needed with : Inventory levels• Shipment packaging and document preparation • Shipments and due dates
Problem Solving:
Specialized equipment testing for product development Test and troubleshoot defective equipment Network troubleshooting Verify problems with equipment receivers for repair 2.
Education/Training Requirements:
Associates Degree in electronics or Military equivalent. 3. Systems/Software Applications Used Basic computer skills (Microsoft OS, Outlook, Word, Excel)
