As an Help Desk Technician, you will provide remote, in-office and onsite technical support to our clients and help resolve their IT issues. We are a small family-owned shop and would love to add someone to the team to grow with us. Essential Duties/Accountabilities Answer incoming customer calls, e-mails and trouble tickets. Provide technical assistance over the phone using remote assistance software Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software Help develop new processes and scripts for systems monitoring Instruct end users in the use of equipment and software. Fully track and document all calls and requests. Monitor network and system health. Maintain and seek knowledge about current industry-wide support practices and the potential impact on the support business. Qualifications High School or GED required. Minimum 3-4 years related experience required. Proficient configuring Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, MacOS, Linux Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems and Hyper-V Working knowledge with Microsoft Office suites products as well as Anti-virus/spam software. Troubleshoot laptop, desktops, and printer issues in a LAN/WAN environment. Must have excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Working knowledge of firewalls such as Sonicwall, Fortigate, Watchguard. Working knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure, AWS. Analytical and problem-solving skills Organizational and time management skills. Flexibility and adaptability.

Licensing and Certifications:

A+ Certified is a plus Skills Strong interpersonal skills Excellent customer service mindset with the ability to develop long term relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data. Strong and creative problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proactively seeks continuous process and service improvements.
