responsibilities:
Start by checking the ticket queue and resetting user passwords. Image new workstations in the lab, then troubleshoot a malfunctioning industrial printer – lifting and transporting the 50-pound unit for repair. Help users with Mac/Windows issues via remote support, install peripherals at workstations, and update inventory records. Collaborate with your 3 teammates on server tasks, document completed tickets, and prepare handoffs for weekend rotation. You’re the friendly face of IT, balancing hands-on hardware work with user support daily!
qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

2+ years Service Desk/Help Desk IT support experience
A+ Certification (current) OR willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
Windows 10 and Mac OS knowledge and experience
SQL database experience
Experience managing remote users and external vendor relationships
Strong customer service and communication skills
Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and transport equipment 15 feet
Availability for weekend work on rotating schedule
Ability to work early evenings after training period

Preferred:

Windows Server OS and IIS Administration experience
Asset management and imaging experience
Audio-visual equipment support knowledge
