Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and hands-on experience with desktop, printer, and basic network troubleshooting. This role requires early shift availability and the ability to coordinate with technology partners to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or remote tools. Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to understand, diagnose, and resolve technical issues. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, printers, and basic network devices. Handle basic connectivity and networking issues including LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams or coordinate with external technology partners as needed. Document support activities, resolutions, and ensure timely follow-up. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional communication and efficient service. Work independently and as part of a team to meet SLAs and support goals.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to make calls to partners/vendors when coordination is needed. Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and peripheral devices. Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP configuration, DNS, DHCP, and router/switch connectivity. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Availability to work from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM EST .
Preferred Qualifications:
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent. Experience working with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems. Exposure to enterprise environments or multi-user support scenarios.
