Job Description
Description We are seeking an experienced Software Support Engineer to play a key role in supporting our production systems within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to resolve complex production issues with minimal supervision. This role involves direct interaction with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and continuous improvement in support operations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and resolve complex production support issues with a focus on system uptime and reliability + Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes + Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to implement technical solutions + Monitor production systems, execute support scripts, and automate routine support tasks + Maintain and update support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base + Handle incident management and ticket resolution using tools like Jira + Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents swiftly and effectively + Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational standards
Requirements Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years in a software support or production engineering role + Expertise in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux + Proficiency in AWS cloud services + Experience with middleware tools (Wildfly, MQ), Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Airflow + Skilled in shell scripting and programming (Python or Java) + Strong understanding of incident management and ticketing tools (e.g., Jira) + Excellent communication skills with ability to work under pressure
Preferred Experience:
