The support engineer role is responsible for incident triaging, troubleshooting, resolution/workarounds, performing root cause analysis, interactions with business and internal stakeholders with clear and crisp communications, code fixes for address the issues permanently.
Job Responsibilities

• Client facing role
• Needs to liaise with clients, operations team, and development team
• Ability to run application jobs using schedulers, manage daily jobs through schedulers
• Automate the manual support processes
• Promptly report and resolve on the reported issues and keep the relevant parties on the same page
• Resolves issues with respect to Unix, App server and Database and install patches if required any
• Follow the support processes and involve in audit
  Key Skills

Primary:

Oracle / PostGres

• PL / SQL, Unix and scripting, J2EE / Java debugging skills

Application Servers:

• Weblogic / Wildfly
• installation and maintenance.
• Control-M or Apache AirFlow
• Ticket Management tools, JIRA , Client Handling
  Desirable Skills
• AWS Cloud, Azure knowledge
• Quick learner and adapt to the changing environments
• Experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools
• Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools (i.e. Jenkins, Hudson, Maven)
• Experience developing using relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environment.
  Qualifications
• BS degree or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of SQl Programming, Linux/Unix and Java
  Experience
• Exposure to version control and release process
• Good Team Player with excellent Communication skill and ability to Multi-Task.
