This individual will learn department processes and apply their knowledge and experience to complete assigned projects. They will carefully consider department and project-wide scope when solving problems. Ways You Will Contribute to Our Collective Success Frontline issue management of help desk tickets: Accountable for SLA ownership and execution. Supporting a diverse environment consisting mostly of Windows 10/11 and Mac OS systems. Provide network endpoint configuration and troubleshooting (PC, Laptop, Cell Phone). Provide Google Workspace Apps support including Gmail, Hangouts, Drive, Docs, Sheets, et al. On occasion, this might require troubleshooting and escalating issues to Google Review and respond as needed to our internal monitoring and alerting systems Manage and support UCaaS soft phone deployments, configurations, and issue resolution. Be a key stakeholder in our IT Asset Management system Respond and escalate backup errors to other members of the IT team Perform as a critical Team Member in IT Participates in daily Stand-up status meetings and plan weekly project goals. Consult with users to create hardware, software and/or system functional specifications for proposals to effectively meet their needs. Perform research and provide technical options based on requirements. Collaborate on IT projects, assisting with designing, developing, documenting,analyzing, and modifying computer systems, programs, and specifications. Test and help create infrastructure disaster recovery plans. The Background and Experience You Need to Support Success 2 plus years of experience or a combination of a Bachelor’s Degree in IT/related field and work experience Experience administering user accounts, security groups, and settings within platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and Google Workspace Admin console. Possess a basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) for effective desktop support and troubleshooting connectivity issues. SentinelOne (or similar
NGAV/EDR
) software support experience. Ability to work with both technical and non-technical professionals at all levels within the organization. Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities. Intermediate understanding of security issues pertaining to information, computer and network resources. CompTIA:
A+, Network+, Security+ (preferred) ISC^2 Certified in Cybersecurity (preferred) Experience with virtual networks and hypervisors such as: VMware, ProxMox, Hyper-V (preferred) Familiarity with storage architectures.
