Full Job Description Position Overview:

Desktop Support Technician (Tier 1) We are seeking a Tier 1 Desktop Support Technician who will serve as the frontline contact for all IT-related incidents and service requests. This role is critical to ensuring a high level of support, customer satisfaction, and consistent service delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Support is provided through multiple channels including phone, email, walk-ins, and self-service tools. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues on both Windows and Mac operating systems, across a range of applications. Respond to and resolve logged IT incidents in a timely, professional manner. Take ownership of technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions or escalate as needed. Accurately document incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system. Install and configure new hardware and software for end users. Support and troubleshoot peripheral devices such as printers, copiers, and scanners. Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain professionalism in all user interactions. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues across all levels of the organization. Produce and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation to enable self-service support. Adapt to changing priorities and rotating schedules as needed. Participate in ongoing internal training to stay current on technologies and system updates. Comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal guidelines. Support performance development processes and engage in continuous learning. Perform additional IT-related tasks as required. Qualifications Previous experience in an IT support or service desk role. Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments, and commonly used software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office). Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills—verbal and written. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to manage and prioritize workload independently.

Job Types:
