Adecco Staffing is assisting Chico’s FAS with their search for a Technical Support Associate in Fort Myers FL. This is a long term 6 month assignment. Schedule will be Sunday

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Primary focus will be handling Internal Customer Calls regarding technical issues. Provides advanced technical assistance toputer system users. Answers questions or resolvesputer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. May provide assistance concerning the use ofputer hardware and software, including ing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONTSIBILITIES

• Administers the daily performance of variousputer systems, networks, and applications.
• Responds to user inquiries via phone, email, tracking system, or in person regardingputer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Entermands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
• Sets upputer equipment for associate use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Installs and performs various levels of repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Maintains records of daily datamunication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
• Maintains related inventory; documenting the receipt, storage, movement and disposal of various hardware and software items.
• References technical manuals to confer with users and conductsputer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
• Aids in the development of training materials and procedures, or trains users in the proper use of hardware or software.

Confers with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent Technology oriented with the ability to be proficient in trouble shooting hardware and software issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Workingputer proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent detail orientation.
• Capability to multitask efficiency and adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced business environment.
• Ability to work independently, managing regular duties with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability tomunicate effectively Proven track record of customer focused activity.

Pay Details:

$19.00 to $20.00 per hour
