IT Support Specialist (Psychology) Florida State University – 4.3 Tallahassee, FL Job Details Full-time $44,056 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level High school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree 4 years Communication skills Full Job Description Department Department of Psychology | Florida State University College of Arts & Sciences Responsibilities This position is responsible for providing technical support for department computers, printers, and classroom technology. Provides comprehensive technical support (hardware and software) to the Department of Psychology. Diagnosis and troubleshoots technical issues. Researches and recommends technology resources and provides audio and visual expertise. Consults with faculty and staff on technology needs and purchases software, hardware, computers and printers. Oversees the licensing, distribution and tracking of departmental software. Assists SysAdmin and Research Technology specialist with network issues. Monitors the help desk ticketing system and works with the Technical Support Analyst to resolve incoming issues and requests. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience. (
