Active Directory Full Job Description Position Overview:

Strong customer service skills are essential for this role, as the position involves direct interaction with end users to ensure the smooth operation of desktop and end-user computing systems. The successful candidate will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support while participating in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of software and hardware for both local and remote IT users. Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Configure and install software for desktops and laptops used by IT users. Install and roll out new software packages and upgrades. Install and maintain desktop hardware, including new deployments. Maintain and update desktop software and hardware inventory. Provide technical support to a mobile workforce. Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end-user computing systems, including desktop-based LAN systems. Troubleshoot standard IT issues independently or with the aid of guidelines. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 3 support as needed. Document technical problems and their resolutions thoroughly. Conduct informal end-user training when required. Participate in the evaluation and testing of new desktop software and hardware packages. Assist in implementing pilot prototypes for new desktop technologies.
