Technical Support Analyst 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Tallahassee, FL Department The Division of Enrollment Management – Technology Operations Unit Responsibilities The Division of Enrollment Management is comprised of four distinct units: Office of Admissions, Office of the University Registrar, Office of Financial Aid, and Technology Operations. Enrollment Management’s integrated services provide distinctive support throughout the students’ development and progression in their academic experience – from recruitment through commencement. Through collaboration, communication, and commitment, all units within Enrollment Management achieve the highest level of student-centered service to current and prospective students and families as well as to campus partners across the University. The Technology Operations Unit within Enrollment Management provides technology support, technology-based solutions, systems configuration, identity and data management, and analysis across the division. The unit works closely with subject matter experts in Admissions, Registrar, and Financial Aid to meet the operational and reporting needs of various stockholders across campus. Responsible for providing technical customer support for software and student information systems security access as well as the monitoring of system and network security for the Division of Enrollment Management. Serves as one of the Security coordinators for Campus Solutions access. Makes sure the employees have had the proper training courses. Sets up the ROW level security and approves the ROLE requests. Serves as internal contact for access inquiries, updates, and removals. Serves as departmental security coordinator. Maintains internal database records and documentation on faculty and staff access authorization for management review. Audits to ensure that continued security access is needed by faculty, staff, and OPS employees. Monitors scheduled routine risk and vulnerability assessments, including but not limited to network and subnet scanning. Reports incidents to the Security Analyst for assessment and additional computer forensics. Assists the Security Analyst with educating staff on emerging security trends, notification of newly released vulnerabilities, and administering Enrollment Management’s annual security training. Ensures NIST standards are met. Performs other duties or activities as needed/requested. Qualifications High school diploma/equivalent and two years of experience. (

Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of experience related to the responsibilities of the job are preferred.
