Job Summary We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable entry-level Computer Technician to join our Ocala office. In this hybrid technical and customer-facing role, you’ll assist with day-to-day tech support tasks and help manage inbound customer service inquiries. You’ll gain real-world experience in both IT and client support, with ongoing training and mentorship from experienced team members. Key Responsibilities Set up, configure, and maintain computers and workstations Troubleshoot software and hardware issues (Windows 10/11) Respond to help desk tickets and remote support sessions Take inbound customer calls and: Provide technical support Assist with scheduling, billing questions, and account updates Log issues and service notes in the CRM Escalate technical problems to Level 2 when needed Support Microsoft 365 users (email, OneDrive, Teams, etc.) Assist with basic network and VoIP troubleshooting Learn and support patch management and cybersecurity procedures Travel locally to client sites when required (fuel reimbursement provided) Requirements High school diploma or GED required Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus Experience with: Windows 10/11 troubleshooting Office 365 at the user level Basic networking (IP addresses, routers, modems) Remote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, etc.) Basic understanding of or willingness to learn: VoIP systems Cybersecurity principles CRM platforms and service ticketing tools Ability to handle billing and scheduling inquiries with professionalism Soft Skills Excellent phone and written communication Friendly, calm, and patient under pressure Detail-oriented and reliable Willingness to learn and grow in a team setting Customer service mindset with a desire to help others What We Offer $14-$15/hour starting pay, with performance raises Paid time off after 3 months Company-provided laptop and tools Fuel reimbursement for client-site travel Mentorship from experienced technicians On-the-job training in tech, customer service, and CRM tools Tuition reimbursement for job-related certifications Career path to full-time and Level 2 technician roles
