Remote EST Hours Our Pharma Client is looking for a proactive and skilled IT Operations Specialist (Level 2) to support and enhance IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing cloud environments and enterprise IT tools such as Azure, Entra, Intune, Office 365 (O365), Okta, and Active Directory (AD) . This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless operations for both end-users and critical business systems. A strong focus on top-tier support, documentation, and standardization is essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities System Monitoring & Issue Resolution:

Maintain and actively monitor support queues, identifying and resolving priority issues swiftly to minimize downtime and enhance user satisfaction.

Azure Administration:

Manage virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and resource groups while implementing security best practices.

Device & Application Management:

Deploy and oversee Microsoft Intune policies to ensure compliance and optimize security across devices. Office 365 (O365)

Administration:

Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, including user accounts and service configurations.

Identity & Access Management:

Oversee Okta authentication, implement Single Sign-On (SSO), and ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications.

Collaboration & MSP Coordination:

Work closely with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to resolve complex infrastructure issues efficiently.

Technical Documentation:

Develop and maintain procedural guides, system configurations, and troubleshooting documentation for consistency across IT operations.

Project Implementation:

Contribute to IT projects such as migrations, upgrades, and system integrations to improve operational efficiency.

Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate workflows and suggest enhancements to streamline IT operations. Minimum Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in IT operations, focusing on Azure, Intune, O365, Okta, and AD administration . Strong knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals and IT security best practices . Experience with scripting (PowerShell) to automate processes and enhance system management. Expertise in SharePoint design, administration, and integration for document management. Incident resolution experience, with a proven ability to escalate and manage issues in multi-platform environments . Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, firewalls, and DNS . Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment . Exceptional documentation skills to create and maintain procedural guides. Effective communication and collaboration skills for both technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as

Microsoft Certified:

Azure Administrator or Okta Certified Professional (preferred). Experience with Zero Trust frameworks and advanced security protocols .
