IT TECHNICIAN

Technology Technician Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support (hardware and software)
• Maintain and configure equipment and networks
• Install software and tech tools
• Monitor basic IT security
• Install and configure Access Control Systems
• Install and configure Cameras & Servers
• Wire Structure installation & Management
• Access point installation & Management
• Running cables.
• Punch down cables on the patch panel.
• Network cable termination and testing.
• Cable dressing and labeling.
• Fiber Optic termination & testing.
• Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks).
• Complete the assigned tasks safely and to CTS standards of quality and professionalism.
• Proficient with fiber test equipment.

Requirements:

• Technical or university training in IT or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of Windows systems, networks, and office tools
• Ability to work in a team and solve problems

• People friendly
• Clean appearance and effective communication skills
• Must have a clean driving record and must be able to pass drug screening
