Senior IT Desktop Support Specialist (Contract-to-Hire) – Orlando, FL
Our client, a growing firm in Orlando, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Desktop Support Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing second-level technical support to end-users across both Windows and macOS environments, effectively troubleshooting hardware and software issues. You will also play a key part in network troubleshooting, ensuring seamless connectivity. Additionally, this position involves assisting with important IT office projects, including office moves, new setups, and infrastructure upgrades. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide Tier 1 support technicians.
We are looking for a candidate with 8-10 years of progressive experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles, with a strong command of both Windows (10/11) and macOS operating systems. Solid knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi) is essential.
