We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team at Sentry Technology Solutions. The successful candidate will primarily work on customer site setup and installations, as well as providing technical support to our customers as part of the existing support team. You will be responsible for answering calls and tickets, troubleshooting technical issues, and working closely with the team to prepare for upcoming customer projects.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person visits to resolve their issues. Setup, move, remove, and upgrade technology items for customers. Work in the office to prepare for upcoming customer projects. Solve new problems without needing to be told every step of a solution. Understand that we are solving both computer and customer problems. Interface with customers, demonstrating social awareness and charisma.

Requirements:

Excellent critical thinking skills. Strongly Prefer 2+ years of MSP experience. Certifications for Microsoft 365 or experience with servers and/or active directory is preferred. Ability to work outside regular hours as needed. Strong aptitude for verbal and written communication, reasoning, logic, analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, handle multiple priorities, work alone, and maintain patience and professionalism Ability to respond in a timely manner to emergency situations at short notice Ability to prioritize and triage work effectively Willingness to work in an office environment, and ability to sit, stand, and walk as required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull up to 50 lbs. Must maintain a clean, clear, and organized working environment.
