Overview:
Alive Church is seeking a Tech Coordinator who thrives in team leadership, values excellence in ministry, and is passionate about empowering others. This position is ideal for someone who feels called to serve both behind the scenes and in the hearts of people. The Tech Coordinator plays a key role in managing, scheduling, and onboarding the volunteers who make worship services and events happen smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, schedule, and coordinate technical volunteers across areas such as audio, lighting, video, and broadcast. Create and manage volunteer rotations and service schedules. Facilitate onboarding and training for new team members. Provide spiritual and personal support to the tech team, investing in their development as both leaders and disciples. Collaborate with the Worship and Production Directors to meet ministry goals. Help maintain a culture of excellence, unity, and Christ-centered service within the tech ministry.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Background in leading technical or production teams in a church or ministry environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Planning Center) and volunteer management platforms. A passion for mentoring and encouraging people in both their technical growth and spiritual journey.
