Job Description Summary The Test Station Design & Support Engineer is a role within the Product Support Engineering (PSE) Group. PSE is within the Sustaining & Test (S&T) Engineering Group. Our Charter & Mission enable the repair process through development and implementation of test equipment, tooling, and processes, as well as managing the performance of our fielded product base. We aim to influence producibility, testability, repairability, and sustainability throughout the product lifecycle. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities This engineer will be an individual contributor as well as lead the standing up and support of S&T designed TE towards acceptance testing of electronic avionics assemblies. This requires the understanding of design/test requirements, deciphering and diagnostics of electronic circuits, as well as embedded software. This may also involve supporting test activities from TE development through production support. Actions and activities include (but not limited to): Setting up and validating Test Equipment (new or transitioned) in the workshop environment. Maintaining and monitoring TE systems ensuring continued operational availability. Implementing preventive and regular maintenance guidance and policies. Diagnose product anomalies and failures, performing troubleshooting and diagnostics of test equipment or product to determine root cause. Implementing Corrective Actions with associated documentation updates. Provides technical support, including hands-on debug of S&T test systems. This role outside of Test Station support activities can include new test station design activities. This involves managing requirements, designing electronic circuits, and developing test software to achieve full test automation. It would also include integrating and verifying test hardware and software with avionics product hardware and software. Influences overall test strategy, test data analytics, and board test strategies. Provides timely communications to project leadership on significant issues or developments. Works closely with the Workshop, Quality, and Product Engineering teams. Required Qualifications BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited college or university curriculum. Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering dealing with electronics, preferably product & equipment design. Desired Characteristics Knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical design for electrical/electronic equipment. Knowledge and experience in software development using

#; system-level development. Understanding and ability to interpret schematic circuit design, diagnostic troubleshooting, familiarity with typical lab equipment (e.g., meters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.,). Experience in the Aerospace/Avionics industry. Proficiency in

#, National Instruments Test Stand, Lab Windows / CVI Knowledge of electrical design for test equipment (signal conditioning, signal conversion, stimulus synthesis, filtering cable harness design, etc.). In-depth knowledge of automated test engineering disciplines. Ability to utilize and exploit problem solving and root cause corrective action tools. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, lead, and execute assignments. Ability to manage assignments towards meeting requirements, schedule, cost, and quality objectives. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
