IT Field Technician Position Available In Sarasota, Florida

IT Field Technician CompLogic Venice, FL We have been providing on-site and remote IT support for small to mid-sized businesses in the Venice/Sarasota area for the past 12 years. The Field Technician works directly with customers either remotely or on-site. Applicant should possess troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve computer/server/network issues in a variety of environments. Must have 2-3 years hands-on experience with: Networking environments and equipment (protocols, routing, VPN’s, etc.) Windows Server Operating Systems Computer hardware, operating systems, and peripherals Active Directory, Group Policy Wireless system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 Office Suites VoIP phone systems Remote monitoring and management systems Working knowledge of Linux systems is a plus.

Valid Florida Driver’s License Insured, reliable vehicle Clear written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills Efficient time management and prioritization skills to organize and complete tasks Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations Can effectively work independently as well as collaboratively Sense of humor

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Able to lift and move computer equipment, including servers (60+ lbs.) Frequent physical movement – crawling through ceilings, crouching under desks, etc.
