IT Specialist West Florida Supply Co. 1184 North Washington Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34236 Job Summary West Florida Supply is looking for an IT specialist capable of working remotely and on site to maintain and service a small server network comprised of 2 servers and 12 PCs, with 6 peripheral devices. The specialist must be able to assist with maintaining and providing support for Windows Server 2016 and proprietary software. They will need to be on call and must be able to respond quickly when needed. Please call 941-365-2838 for a brief interview. Please note that this is a gig-based position, where you’ll be called and paid on a case-by-case basis for assistance. Responsibilities Provide desktop support for Windows and proprietary software. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution. Manage and maintain computer systems, including installation and configuration of applications. Assist in the deployment of new technologies and upgrades. Document processes and maintain accurate records of IT assets. Qualifications Proficiency in desktop support across Windows and proprietary software. Familiarity with LAN setup and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
