Job Summary/Description:
The Desktop Support Analyst plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive IT support, guidance, and coordination to resolve technical issues efficiently. This position involves assisting a specific group of customers with applications, infrastructure, and technology-related tasks for small projects. Collaborating closely with application developers and operations teams is essential to ensure seamless support for production applications and customer-specific operations. Additionally, this role involves training customers on new products, applications, and platforms to enhance their technical proficiency and contribute to team objectives. Hours:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET. Responsibilities Provide hands-on technical support for desktop and laptop hardware, including imaging, configuration, and deployment Troubleshoot software issues, perform installations, and ensure applications are functioning correctly for end users Deliver face-to-face support for hardware replacements and system upgrades as part of the End-of-Life (EOL) laptop refresh program Serve as a primary point of contact for end-user technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication throughout the support process Utilize ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) to document, track, and manage incidents and service requests Coordinate with application development and operations teams to resolve escalated issues and support production systems Train end users on new hardware, applications, and tools, ensuring a smooth transition during tech refreshes and upgrades Support small-scale IT projects and contribute to broader team initiatives Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and responsive service
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in IT support or technical service roles Proficiency in imaging laptops and desktops Strong skills in software installation and troubleshooting Comfortable providing face-to-face support for hardware replacements and end-user assistance Nice to
