Position Overview:

The Technical Support Specialist will: Provide technical support to the Operations Manager, District Sales Manager, Production Manager, and Service Manager as well as the Sales Support Representative. Handle day-to-day technical needs including shop drawings, wiring schematics and written specifications. Develop new and/or organize the existing library of shop drawings and associated written specifications. Gain and maintain the appropriate professional and technical knowledge necessary to successfully perform the role. Partner with leadership to understand the impact of emerging technologies, i.e. AI, to implement AI into SiteOne Green Tech technical processes

Skills We Are Seeking:

: 3-5 years of technical experience preferred Knowledge of pumps and pump controls, especially variable frequency drives. Familiarity with landscape irrigation preferred Proficiency in 3-D drawing preferred; specifically SolidWorks, Inventor or Fusion 360 Proficiency in 2-D drawing preferred; specifically AutoCAD Ability to compile documentation using Adobe Acrobat i.e. project submittal requirements Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, time management skills Proficiency in AI tools and process improvement Ability to think quickly and make decisions Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Ready and willing to learn and adapt, and encourage others to learn and adapt, new technologies and ways of working High school diploma or equivalent required College degree preferred SiteOne Landscape Supply is strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all associates and all applicants for employment.
