Description:
Position Summary This position provides front-line IT support for plant users , ensuring stable Help Desk operations and technical assistance for day-to-day IT issues. In addition, the role includes the monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure and IT systems , and participation in improvement projects and data/system management initiatives. The IT Associate/Specialist plays a key role in maintaining business continuity through timely support and system reliability. Key Responsibilities 1. Help Desk Support (Primary Role) Provide technical assistance to users for hardware, software, and peripheral issues. Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner. Deliver system usage training and documentation for plant personnel. Maintain records of common issues and resolutions for future reference. 2. Network & IT Infrastructure Maintenance Monitor and maintain the stability of network devices, servers, and plant IT equipment. Troubleshoot network, system, and connectivity issues. Support installation, configuration, and updates of IT hardware/software. Assist with system improvement initiatives to ensure high uptime and performance. 3. System & Data Management Gather and analyze user requirements and translate them for the development team. Participate in system enhancement planning, testing, and implementation. Document IT systems, processes, and configuration changes. Provide support for database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle preferred). 4. Project & Operational Support Assist in IT projects as an analyst, tester, or coordinator. Evaluate and report on potential new solutions or technologies. Support cost tracking and budgeting for IT operations. Perform additional IT-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Qualifications Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure maintenance, or related roles preferred. Korean & English Bilingual Ability to read, write, and speak in Korean & English Technical Skills Understanding of network infrastructure and system architecture. Experience with PC hardware, operating systems, and IT peripherals. Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Customer-focused mindset with a proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and in team environments.
