The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services for computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and customer service to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction for our users. Duties Provide technical support to end-users via help desk services, addressing issues related to software troubleshooting and computer hardware. Manage and maintain computer systems, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest operating systems and security patches. Assist in the configuration and management of firewalls to protect network integrity. Utilize Jira for tracking issues, managing tasks, and documenting resolutions effectively. Troubleshoot computer networking issues to ensure seamless connectivity across devices. Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement solutions that enhance system performance. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to user inquiries and resolving technical issues efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in technical support or a related field with a strong understanding of computer management. Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and familiarity with various software applications. Knowledge of computer hardware components and their functionality. Experience with firewall management and network security practices is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
