Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem. Traveling to the client’s location or connecting via a remote link. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals. Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software. Troubleshooting networking and connection issues. Advising on software or hardware upgrades. Providing basic training in computer operation and management. Completing job reports and ordering supplies. QAD and IPC application user account management. IPC application admin for general issues. IT Orientation Familiarize new employees with the company’s IT systems, policies, procedures, and culture Facilitates IT meetings with HR, and local managers focusing on current IT onboarding processes. (Includes all the CSR call center, facility managers, and most hiring managers in the Charlotte, NC area). IT POC for IBM Philippines Citrix Users. Escalations. General status updates. Urgent account related issues. Citrix workspace app technical support. Outlook shared inbox management inquiries. Skills and Qualifications At least 3 years of experience of studies, computer related work or in a similar role. Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician. Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals. Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems. Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues. Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Hours and Location Hours – 40 hours per week (flexible) Monday – Friday Only
