Job Description:
As our in-house IT technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the office’s IT infrastructure. This includes supporting hardware, software, EMR systems, networking, and daily tech operations to minimize downtime and keep our medical team functioning at full capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for all staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues Maintain and support EMR systems, printers, workstations, and phones Manage user accounts, permissions, and system backups Assist with security compliance, updates, and antivirus management Work closely with third-party vendors for escalated IT needs or specialized systems Set up new users and devices quickly and efficiently Maintain documentation for IT systems and procedures
Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus) Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and common office applications Working knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and RingCentral systems a strong plus Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Ability to prioritize and respond to urgent issues promptly CompTIA, A+, Network+, or similar certifications are a plus
