Job Title Senior Client Tech Support Engineer What does a successful Senior Client Tech Support Engineer do at Fiserv? You will have an exciting and unique opportunity to provide client support to our merchant, issuing, bank and credit union clients. This role is vital to growing and maintaining positive client relationships and requires responsive actions and accurate resolution at every interaction.
What you will do:
Provide full Tier 1 support and facilitate Tier 2 inquiries for clients and associates, serving as an escalation contact for internal associates and Fiserv clients. Review incoming client inquiries through emails, ticket inquiries, phone calls, …etc. Capture and manage inquiries tracking them through the resolution lifecycle. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve functional, technical, and/or operational problems under limited supervision. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for majority of products/functionality within a designated domain, enabling the capability to identify and resolve issues for those products. Develop/write basic SQL queries, review stored procedures, and database structures. Provide enhanced deployment and post deployment support to ensure rapid seamless management/resolution of reported issues. Help develop required support documentation, schedules, other artifacts that provide sufficient content to quickly respond and remediate inquiries. Effectively communicate and escalate complex issues to Technical and Product SMEs and assist in testing use case creation and perform validations when needed. What you will need to have: High school diploma and/or equivalent military experience. 4+ years of customer service or business analysis experience in supporting defined products 4+ years using Agile methodologies 4+ years of experience solving analytical problems 1+ years of experience supporting Fiserv systems What would be great to have: Experience working in the banking or financial services industry. Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular/React. Ability to engage in telephone discussions/email communications with clients. Excellent interpersonal skills to always maintain professional presence.
