POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of talented technical support specialists dedicated to delivering exceptional service across LT’s telehealth division and growing suite of digital products. This role focuses on building and maintaining a high-performing team that supports remote physicians by provisioning, deploying, and troubleshooting laptops, software, and hardware used in telemedicine. In addition, the manager ensures compliance with telehealth regulations and drives continuous improvement in support operations. Beyond telehealth, the role also expands to supporting LT’s websites, mobile apps, and internal tools, enabling seamless business operations. The ideal candidate is a people-focused leader with strong technical acumen and a passion for operational excellence and customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Team Management – 60% Leads, coaches, and develops a high-performing technical support team. Oversee daily work assignments, conducting performance evaluations, and recommending merit increases and promotions. Provides regular mentorship, guidance, and problem-solving support to ensure team members are equipped with the tools, training, and resources they need to succeed Cultivates a team culture centered on customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Managing LT Hardware and Providing Technical Support – 30% Oversees the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of hardware to support telehealth operations and other LT technology initiatives Delivers Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, managing inventory securely in accordance with compliance policies, and participating in the on-call support schedule to ensure 24×7 service availability Ensures hardware readiness, applies required security protocols, and supports users through training and hands-on assistance Strategic Planning and Reporting – 10% Contributes to strategic planning by forecasting hardware needs, monitoring industry trends, and helping ensure cost-effective purchasing and deployment Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifies opportunities for operational improvements, and provides regular updates to Technology Leadership. Assist with budget planning and execution to support long-term operational efficiency and scalability

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS BS/BA
in related discipline ideal or minimum HS Diploma/GED with generally 3-5 years of experience in related field. May substitute 6+ years of related field experience in place of undergrad. Prior demonstrated team management experience Experience managing staff in a technical support organization Advanced working knowledge of how to provision, deploy, and maintain a laptop inventory via Microsoft InTune Experience supporting technical aspects of web browsers, websites and mobile apps. Salesforce support experience nice to have. Experience working in telehealth and/or medical staffing a plus
