Technical Support Analyst KGS Technologies Alpharetta, GA 30009 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of both hardware and software systems, including Windows and Mac OS environments. Responsibilities Provide first-level help desk support for users experiencing technical issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to computer hardware, operating systems (Windows and Mac OS), and applications. Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of firewalls and other security measures. Utilize ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to document incidents, track progress, and communicate with users. Perform software troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of applications. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed. Maintain accurate inventory of computer hardware and software assets. Educate users on best practices for IT security and efficient use of technology. Requirements Proven experience in an IT support role or help desk environment. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems; familiarity with Mac OS is a plus. Experience with firewall configurations and network security principles. Proficient in troubleshooting computer hardware issues. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist users. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
