Job Description

Deskside Support Analyst 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Duluth, GA 30096 • Hybrid work Working at Nth Degree, we don’t merely manage trade shows, exhibits, and events. Our job is to craft experiences that help build stronger brands—and we relish it. Due to massive growth, we are looking to add a Deskside Support Analyst to Nth Degree’s corporate IT Department. The Deskside Support Analyst role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support within the organization’s end-user computing environment. This person will be working in the client environment with executive level employees. This includes installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and upgrading all end-user devices and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by remote tools, by telephone, or via chat) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. You will report directly to the Director of Infrastructure and be based out of our office in Duluth GA For the first 90 days, you will be expected to be onsite full-time. Hybrid work is available after 90 days but a minimum of three days in the office will be required. Salary is $68,000 – $78,000

What You’ll Do:

Serve as first point of contact for end users Report to and work directly with Executive Staff Manage, support, and maintain IT infrastructure including, but not limited to:

Hardware:

PCs, laptops, peripherals, phones

Software:

Microsoft, Intune MDM, Office365, VPN, Sophos Endpoint, Papercut Pro Create, track, update cases in service delivery system Manage end user incidents and service requests in service delivery system Setup and deploy user systems for our staff across the country Educate end users on how to leverage technology for better efficiency User administration in a Hybrid AD environment that is multi-forest General Office365 user management Maintain asset inventory of computers, monitors, keyboard, mice, etc… on site and inside

ITSM/CMDB

Communicate with internal Service Desk for knowledge sharing, training, and skill development Ability to work after hours, including weekends and holidays to support on-call rotation. Any on-call work time is given back after your rotation ends Assist System Administration and Engineering team with projects. This means you’ll learn from our Systems Administrators and Engineers to grow your skillset and career Occasional travel required for site deployments and show support Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

Proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst/Specialist 2+ years of IT support experience, level 2 or higher preferred Basic understanding of PowerShell Deep understanding of hardware and software issues within a managed device environment Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize issues as necessary Critical thinking skills. High level of professionalism and confidentiality Intune and Autopilot experience is a plus Knowledge of AS/400 systems is a plus Associate’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. AZ-900 and MS-900 certifications are preferred, but a similar skillset is all that is required. ITIL-4 Practitioner, or at least a solid understanding of ITIL Processes.
