RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical assistance and support to all Ethos students, teachers, and staff. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software and networking systems, Ensure seamless access and operation of technology within the school. Support educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Resolve tech issues related, but not limited, to onboarding, logins, platform creation, gradebook settings, software and platform updates within LMS and SIS. Create and maintain effective systems for network infrastructure and help desk tickets. Support online testing platforms, educational apps, and ensure tech readiness for assessments. Provide basic IT training and workshops for staff to improve tech integration in the classroom. Maintain documentation of all IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Five or more years of experience in tech support or systems management roles, familiarity with educational tech tools, software, and LMS/SIS platforms. Proficiency with various operating systems (Mac, Windows, Chromebooks, etc.) and network systems. Previous experience in IT support, preferably in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, and cloud-based systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & CAPABILITIES
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and thrive in a school environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in working with non-technical users. Proven experience as a systems manager or similar role. In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and operating systems. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. Knowledge of IT security best practices and protocols.
