IT Support Technician The Morgan County Board of Commissioners is seeking applications for the position of IT Support Technician. The IT Support Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software to ensure systems are secure and user-friendly. This role serves as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, offering support in person, by phone, or online. Duties include troubleshooting a wide range of hardware and software problems, maintaining the safety and integrity of data and equipment, and analyzing systems to identify and resolve issues. The technician is also responsible for managing and resolving service requests through a ticketing system while maintaining accurate records of all reported incidents and their corresponding resolutions.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Proven experience in IT support or a related field
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and computer networks
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical issues simultaneously
