What You Need
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, networks, and software applications
Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience with network administration, Microsoft systems, SAP Basis, and Lotus Notes
Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service frameworks
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, etc.
Additional Skills:
Effective verbal and written communication with both technical and non-technical users
Ability to document procedures and train users
Solid math and analytical abilities
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments (office and technical spaces)
What Your Role Will Look Like
As the IT Experience & Support Specialist, you will serve as the frontline ambassador for all things IT—supporting employees, solving problems, and ensuring seamless system operations. Your role is critical to maintaining uptime, efficiency, and satisfaction across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues
Diagnosing and resolving technical problems; escalating when needed
Setting up, configuring, and maintaining systems and devices
Conducting user check-ins and training to ensure strong IT engagement
Managing accounts, permissions, backups, and routine maintenance
Monitoring systems to proactively identify and fix issues
Collaborating with the broader IT team and participating in technology rollouts
Staying current with emerging trends to continuously improve IT support
Documenting support solutions and procedures for internal knowledge sharing
