OF POSITION
Responsible for technical support of computers, printers, and software applications at facilities. Acts as member of IT project team for corporate wide systems and projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1.Technical support for end users. 2.Monitors system back for location servers. 3.Responsible for hardware/software installation and upgrades. 4.Assists in implementation of information systems (i.e. Bar Code, Time Clock, E-mail, phones). 5.Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs all computer related hardware issues. 6.Documents and reports system issues to manager. Special Skills 1.
Must Demonstrate:
Recognized leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills. 2.Excellent communication skills 3.The ability to effectively work with coworkers, vendors, contractors, and customers. Education 1.Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred2.Associates degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required Experience Two or more years work experience in information technology preferred. Skills, Competencies, & Other Qualifications 1.Competent in critical thinking and root cause analysis 2.Excellent communication, written and oral, and customer service relationship skills. Ability to tailor message to the audience, exercise persuasion, and exhibit diplomacy 3.Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere 4.Ability to handle various responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize multiple projects 5.Working knowledge of Windows Operation System 6.Knowledge of WAN, LAN, and wireless networks 7.Able to work after hours and on weekends as needed or required. 8.Ability to follow maintenance and performance guidelines as provided by manager. 9.Knowledge of manufacturing industry. 10.Able to run cat 5 cables. Travel Requirements Up to 25% travel visiting manufacturing facilities. Position requires time spent on the manufacturing floor.
