Full Job Description Position Summary:
The IT Support Technician supports the day-to-day technology operations across Trinity Community Health Center’s primary and ancillary locations. This position is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining end-user devices, diagnosing software and hardware issues across multiple platforms, and ensuring the seamless operation of user accounts and systems through regular audits and proactive troubleshooting. The Technician provides responsive, solution-focused support to staff, helping to ensure timely access to systems and tools essential to care delivery. This role aligns with Trinity Community Health Center’s vision to provide a quality, efficient, and accessible health care delivery system. It supports our commitment to operational excellence and high-quality care through dependable, user-centered IT support.
Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain hardware. Inventory and asset management. Software troubleshooting. Managing user accounts and permissions. Manage and resolve all help desk support tickets. Supporting ancillary sites. Troubleshoot and support network infrastructure. Ensure optimal performance and security compliance. Reporting/auditing of users and systems. License management. Other tasks may be assigned.
Additional Requirements:
Collaborate with team members to enhance IT service delivery and resolve complex problems. Complete all required training as designated by HR and the IT Director. Adhere to all organizational policies and those outlined within the Trinity Community Health Center Employee Handbook. Willingness to travel and work at other Trinity CHC locations. Must participate in quality assurance/ improvement activities when applicable Must have a valid driver’s license

Education/Experience/Skills:
Associate/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required. Customer service oriented. Excellent communication skills. Experience in cloning machines and master images. Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google products. Ability to set up/troubleshoot. Strong aptitude to prioritize issues. Ability to read, write, and speak the English language. Ability to interpret various instructions and deal with multiple linguistic variables. Ability to exercise independent judgment, be self-directed, and organized. Ability to reason objectively. Ability to handle various duties, which may be interrupted or changed by immediate circumstances. Ability to work well in high-stress environments. Nice to
Haves:
A+/Network+ certification preferred. Two years of experience as a PC technician or in a related field is preferred. Management of Active Directory and Google Workspace preferred.
Work Environment:
The work environment in a healthcare setting can be fast-paced and involves working with healthcare professionals and support staff. Some days may be spent traveling between sites, others at a desk answering phones and resolving help desk tickets. Hired applicant will be required to travel to Ruston, LA or Winnfield, LA for minimum of two weeks to train.
