PRIMARY PURPOSE
To manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure, including corporate computer systems, business networks, voice and wireless communications, camera systems, and data management platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide 24-7 support for CRC and other offices as needed. Maintain sitewide computer hardware systems, servers, LAN, and PCs. Maintain network infrastructure and virtualization platforms, including VMware, iDRAC, and Exihost. Ensure proper configuration and monitoring of data backup and restoration systems (e.g., Veeam). Install and maintain desktop/laptop software and peripherals, including spare parts and supplies. Provide administration and support for key enterprise software systems such as SAP, Dokmee, and Amano. Provide support for plant-related business systems such as Maintelligence, LIMS, and Capstone. Maintain voice and data communication for the entire plant. Maintain wireless 2-way radio system with support from Maintenance. Maintain wireless voice systems (cellular). Maintain and coordinate support for facility camera systems as part of site infrastructure. Maintain copier contracts, including installations and network connections. Oversee contracted support and upgrades for plant network systems and equipment. Provide input for the IT budget and assist with billing/cost reconciliation. Provide support as needed for Bermuda and other international business locations. Assist when needed during plant incidents and turnaround activities at CRC. Provide help in planning of future projects as needed. Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT systems and support tasks. Assist CRC employees and contractors with proper use of computer devices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Required:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field 5+ years of experience working with IT systems and infrastructure
Preferred:
MBA, Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical or business discipline

Summary of Description:
The Technician will work under the supervision of an assigned specific discipline and based on experience the individual evaluates, selects, and applies standard applicable techniques. Could include discipline work of purchasing, expediting, NDT Inspection, project controls, surveying, laser scanning, schedulers, planner, construction inspectors, project coordinators, automation, controls, etc.
Duties:
Assists assigned supervisor in various aspects of projects assigned. Applying standard discipline techniques to make minor adaptations and modifications. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
License Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License as per State law or requirement
Specific Skills:
Detailed working knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to project work.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk up to one mile on industrial plant and construction sites outdoors at any time of the year. Ability to work in protective clothing which may elevate body temperatures by several degrees Fahrenheit for periods of up to 15 minutes without a break. Ability to use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders unassisted. Ability to hear safety alarms and signals while wearing hearing protection. Ability to sit at desk and operate computer for extended periods of time. Ability to stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to see with visual acuity and distinguish between colors. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis is required and at times lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.
