The Technical Solutions Specialist ensures this by handling first-level support requests, resolving issues efficiently, and escalating more complex problems to a Technical Consultant when necessary. When help is needed the Technical Solutions Specialist will be asked to escalate issues to other members in the Service Delivery Team for assistance. Client Support:
Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, or ticketing system. Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting for hardware, software, and basic network-related issues as needed. Support and troubleshoot Windows 11 operating systems, including updates, driver issues, and user configurations. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Microsoft Office 365 services, including email, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Assist with the setup and support of user accounts, password resets, permissions, and access issues. Troubleshoot and resolve basic networking issues, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, IP conflicts, and printer network setup. Perform installations and configurations of client hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals (printers, monitors, etc.). Deploy and configure standard software applications based on client requirements. Other Client Support activities as assigned.
Process Management:
Use the ticketing system to manage, update, and resolve service requests and helpdesk tickets. Ensure accurate and up-to-date client and internal documentation. Ensure no tickets remain untouched for over 24 hours and escalate as needed. Monitor dashboards for basic remediation tasks, including patching, service restarts, and updates. Other Process Management activities as assigned.
Team Collaboration and Development:
Escalate tickets requiring advanced support to the Technical Consultant. Participate in project delivery as assigned, both remotely and onsite. Contribute to team improvement initiatives and share constructive feedback. Other Team Collaboration and Development activities as assigned.
Compliance and Best Practices:
Identify and communicate potential risks to clients and management. Other Compliance and Best Practices activities as assigned. Required skills and qualifications Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for overcoming technical challenges. Maintain a positive, cheerful, and confident demeanor when communicating with clients, even in challenging situations. Foundational knowledge of Windows 11 troubleshooting, configuration, and support. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications and services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online. Basic understanding of networking principles, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Proficiency with ticketing systems and remote support tools (training provided for specific platforms). Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and follow escalation procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach. Within the first year of employment, successfully achieve MS-900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) certification. A valid and clean Louisiana driver’s license.
Preferred:
Familiarity with PSA software and RMM tools. Experience working in an IT support or helpdesk environment. MSP experience would be a plus. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or a Microsoft Certification. Physical demands/WORK
