Job Description
Description We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on IT Technician to join our IT support team. This role offers a mix of traditional help desk support and unique, physical environments — including occasional work on boats and in compact spaces. + Provide front-line help desk support including password resets, hardware issues (printers, keyboards, etc.), and basic troubleshooting + Manage and respond to tickets using ServiceNow, as well as assist users who walk up to the service desk + Support mobile devices using Microsoft InTune (enrollment, troubleshooting, and remote management) + Travel weekly between nearby sites (mileage reimbursed): Port Allen, Convent, Vacherie, Harahan + Provide remote support for 3 Houston locations as needed + Occasionally work onboard boats, climbing narrow stairwells and accessing compact tech closets + Adhere to all provided PPE requirements including boots, life jackets, and safety helmets + Maintain accurate documentation and resolve tickets with clear and timely communication Requirements + 1-3 years of experience in a help desk, desktop support, or IT technician role + Comfortable troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues + Familiar with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems + Experience with mobile device management tools like Microsoft InTune + Able to safely navigate tight spaces, climb stairs, and work onboard vessels + Valid driver’s license, TWIC card, and access to reliable transportation for weekly site visits + Willing to wear PPE as required + Strong communication and problem-solving skills Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
