IT Manager About the

Role:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Technology Support Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will work with the IT leaders and teammates to learn and support our legacy systems as we migrate to Oracle, you will also be directly involved with the migration and supporting future applications and platforms. Provide help desk support to internal users with IT related software and hardware issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Key Responsibilities Create and update applications in our current legacy system. Respond to and resolve user inquiries and issues via ticketing systems, phone, email, or in person. Perform day-to-day tasks related to business operations. Document technical procedures, solutions, and user guides for future reference. Monitor and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal or external IT teams. Configure and troubleshoot manufacturing printers and handheld scanning devices. Administer local Active Directory server, Linux ERP server, and Windows PDM server. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience), recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills. Ability to quicky learn new applications and adapt to process changes. Self-motivated, driven by service and teamwork. A strong initiative to learn and grow with the company. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users clearly. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. May require occasional evening or weekend work for system maintenance or upgrades. Some lifting of equipment (up to 25 lbs) may be required.

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. The candidate will be required to work onsite. The starting base pay for this role is targeted to be between $55,000 to $60,000 per year. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
