Desktop Support Specialist Crox Lexington, MA 02421 Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to end-users, ensuring their computing environments are efficient and effective. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both hardware and software systems, along with excellent problem-solving skills to address various technical issues. Experience in Pharma industry is a must Responsibilities Provide first-level support for desktop and laptop hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Windows and macOS operating systems. Assist users with applications in the Microsoft Office suite and other software as needed. Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory. Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management, ensuring timely resolution of support requests. Analyze system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary. Collaborate with other IT staff to maintain LAN connectivity and resolve network-related issues. Document all support interactions and maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions. Experience Proven experience in a desktop support role or help desk environment. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with Windows operating systems Microsoft Office applications. Experience working with Active Directory for user management. Ability to analyze technical problems effectively and provide clear solutions. Proficiency in using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.

$30.00 – $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 45 per week
