We’re working with a well-established consulting firm specializing in enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions for clients across utilities, transportation, manufacturing, and government sectors.
As they continue to grow their project delivery team, they’re looking for an experienced IBM Maximo Specialist to support and enhance Maximo implementations for clients nationwide.
This is a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Maximo configuration, integration, and administration, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize workflows, and drive successful deployments.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience working with IBM Maximo (7.6 or newer)
Strong experience with Maximo configuration, administration, and customization
Familiarity with Maximo integration tools (MIF, Web Services, REST, SOAP)
Experience with database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2)
Proficiency in automation scripting (JavaScript, Jython, or similar)
Understanding of EAM processes across asset-intensive industries
Excellent communication skills with ability to interface directly with clients
Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.x)
Familiarity with reporting tools (BIRT, Cognos, or similar)
Experience with Maximo mobile solutions (Anywhere, Mobile Start)
Cloud-hosted Maximo experience (AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud)
IBM Maximo certifications (Administrator, Deployment, etc.)
Experience working in an Agile project environment
What You’ll Be Doing Tech Breakdown:
70% Maximo administration, configuration, and support
20% Client interaction, requirement gathering, and solution design
10% Integration, scripting, and reporting
Daily Responsibilities:
60% Hands-on implementation and support of Maximo solutions
25% Collaborating with clients to optimize workflows and processes
15% Documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts
