Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Journalism, Public Relations, or closely related field. Six months of demonstrated experience managing a corporate or organizational social media account through a professional position or an internship within the past two years. Experience with website content management; Graphic design skills/knowledge of design concepts; and Associated Press (AP) style writing preferred. Experience with photography and videography. Must be familiar with video software to generate short promotional and informational videos for the district.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Plans, writes, edits, designs, photographs, records, and posts scheduled material for use across digital platforms including Facebook, X, and YouTube
Manages, maintains, and updates website content on all district and school-level pages
Monitors social media comments/questions and alerts the Superintendent about concerning discussions/opinions regarding the district.
Retrieves analytics to measure the impact and success of social media efforts
Responsible for all communications into or out of the Superintendent’s office
Serves as point of contact for media and public inquiries
Designs, prepares, writes, and edits content for monthly district emails, billboards, videos, press releases, presentations, etc.
Responsible for the production of the annual district calendar including advertisements, content, design, and distribution
Responsible for leading the district’s brand strategy and developing visual identity
Coordinates and manages video series for the Superintendent
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent
