Job Description
This is a Standby Generator Diagnostic Repair Tech position located in Saucier, MS.Electrical Experience PreferredAssist in generator installations. Perform Preventative Maintenance, including oil changes, on our customers automatic standby generatorsDiagnose/Troubleshoot generators that have issues or are not working properly. Explain to customer if their generator has an issue and how you would be able to fix it. Provide repair options to the customerMust be able to regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have basic knowledge of how a transfer switch and generator operate. Troubleshooting and repairing of operational failures of ATS’s (automatic transfer switches). Applicants must be clean-cut, neat, and professional. Well-spoken and polite. Clean Driving Record. Auto mechanic or auto knowledge a PLUS. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to work independently. At least 2 years experience. Knowledge of NEC Code a plus.
