Laptop Desktop Support Technician (part of Larsen and Toubro (L&T)) 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Pascagoula, MS 39581 Laptop and Desktop Support Technician Job Summary Seeking a skilled and dedicated Laptop and Desktop Support Technician to join our team to provide support at client location The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for laptops and desktops used in the lab with a secondary focus on managing mobile devices using Microsoft Intune Key Responsibilities Technical Support Provide timely and effective technical support for laptops and desktops including troubleshooting hardware software and operating system Windows 10 Windows 11 issues Maintenance Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates hardware upgrades and system backups to ensure the smooth operation of lab equipment Installation Install and configure new laptops and desktops ensuring they meet the specific requirements of the refinery lab User Assistance Assist lab personnel with technical issues providing guidance and training as needed Intune Management Manage mobile devices using Microsoft Intune including configuration deployment and monitoring of mobile device policies Documentation Maintain accurate records of support requests resolutions and equipment inventory Security Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with company policies Collaboration Work closely with other IT staff and lab personnel to identify and address technical needs and improvements Working Conditions Environment Work primarily in a refinery lab setting with occasional visits to other areas of the refinery as needed
